Winter School on Federalism and Governance 2024

The Institute for Comparative Federalism of Eurac Research, Bolzano/Bozen, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Innsbruck announce the 15th edition of their joint programme, the

 

WINTER SCHOOL ON FEDERALISM AND GOVERNANCE 2024 

The Winter School is a cross-border postgraduate programme located in the heart of the Alps under the auspices of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.

The 2024 edition will focus on “FEDERALISM AND SUSTAINABILITY”

 

Dates: 05 February – 16 February 2024

The first week (05- 09 February) takes place at the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck, Austria;

The second week (12 – 16 February) takes place at the Institute for Comparative Federalism, Eurac Research, Bolzano/Bozen, Italy.

 Deadline for applications: 15 October 2023, 23:59 CEST

The Winter School is designed for participants from all nationalities who wish to broaden their knowledge of federalism and multilevel governance through an interdisciplinary and comparative approach. We welcome applications from post-docs, postgraduate & graduate students, researchers, civil servants, employees of national/international organizations or NGOs. The Winter School explores how federalism can contribute to multilevel, integrated and pluralistic decision-making. It is a unique opportunity to receive training on theoretical and practical aspects of federalism and governance.
